Why We Built This Site
Colorado warrant information is split between a statewide justice-data exchange and local case records. CICJIS connects justice partners, and CBI administers restricted criminal-information systems, but neither offers a public search for every active warrant. The court that issued an order controls the case record and any recall or bond decision. A county sheriff or city police agency may be assigned to serve it. The correct public route depends on the type of case: District Court and County Court hold state cases within their jurisdiction, while a municipal court keeps city-ordinance matters.
This statewide reference is organized around that division of work. It explains what Colorado's justice systems exchange, what public court and sheriff channels can show, and where a person can ask for an official record. A local search can be useful but may be limited to one county or agency. When a search is empty or unclear, the issuing Clerk of Court and service agency can confirm status and explain the next court step. The county directory supplies the local starting point for all 64 counties.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, separate from Colorado courts, sheriffs, and state agencies. It cannot act for those offices. It cannot:
- No official search or case-status confirmation is available through this private reference service
- A court order cannot be changed or recalled here
- No bond, fine, or other warrant payment is accepted
- Surrender plans and court appearances must be arranged with the proper Colorado office
- Case-specific legal advice must come from a licensed Colorado attorney
- Local fees, phone details, and online listings may change after publication
The Clerk of Court can confirm the court record and whether a judge has changed the order. The sheriff or other assigned agency can explain service and surrender steps. CBI does not provide a public warrant-status lookup, and an empty online result does not settle the question.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by outside providers. Each provider operates its own service and sets its fees. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid signup, the service may receive a referral fee that supports this reference resource. The provider controls its results and charges; neither should be treated as official Colorado warrant confirmation.
