This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Colorado Warrant Records is privately operated. It cannot confirm a warrant, recall a court order, accept bond, arrange surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the Clerk of Court at the issuing state court, the municipal court for a city case, or the county sheriff or other agency responsible for service.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Choose the official channel that matches the question and the type of case:
- Whether an order is current: contact the issuing Clerk of Court and ask which agency holds it for service. Use Browse Counties to reach the court and sheriff for the county named on the case papers.
- A missed court date: ask the court that set the case whether a warrant was issued and what procedure is available. A state-law case may be in District Court or County Court; a city-ordinance matter belongs to the municipal court named on the citation.
- Resolving an order: speak with a Colorado attorney and the issuing court about a new appearance, a motion to recall or quash, surrender, or bond. The judge decides what options apply.
- Public records access: use the Colorado Judicial record-request form for state-court documents. Ask the court or sheriff's records custodian whether CCJRA or CORA applies to an agency record.
- Statewide system information: read about Colorado's warrant database systems, which support restricted justice-information exchange but do not provide a public statewide search.
The court controls its order, while the sheriff, city police, or another authorized agency may handle service. Colorado's 64 counties do not share one public warrant portal or a uniform sheriff search. Start with the court or city written on the citation, then use the directory to reach the local office. For state-court material, the Colorado Judicial record-request form is an official document channel, not a warrant-clearance request.
